The Most Effective Way To Do Your Ab Exercises

Doing ab exercises is not the most enjoyable way to pass time. It can be at best tedious and at worst down right grueling. My experience has taught me that working your lower abdominal muscles first is a very effective way to get a great stomach workout.

The abdominal region is comprised of four muscle groups.

Transverse Abdominis
Rectus Abdominis
Internal Oblique
External Oblique
Those are fancy words that translate into upper abs, lower abs and sides (love handles).

Now before we go any further I must make it clear that you can do all the ab exercises you want but if you are looking to develop a six pack stomach you must also incorporate a strict low fat diet into your regimen. That is where most people drop the ball when it comes to getting washboard abs. Now that we have that out of the way let’s get back to the subject at hand.

Most people fail to get a proper abs workout because they only target one area of their stomach, usually the upper abs. My suggestion to you is to begin your workout targeting the lower abs. We have a great list of lower ab exercises listed right here on www.rippedabs4u.com. We strongly encourage you to not only read it but to actually do the exercises. They are time tested and believe me, they get results.

From there you then want to attack your upper abs and then finish out by working your sides or obliques (obliques are your side muscles). There are some very effective ab exercises listed here on our site. What you want to do is to rotate your exercise routine as much as possible. You do not want your body to get used to the workouts you are doing. That is not the optimal way to train your muscles.
