Lower Abs Workout - How To Get Amazing Results


We work our abs over and over and still there is that little pooch, if you will, below the belly button that has to go. Don’t despair. There are effective lower abs workouts that can flatten that lower abs bulge.

Unfortunately, the lower abs are often forgotten when we work our abs. concentrating on the upper rectus abdominis area we forget that part of that “six pack” is below the belly button. When you craft your abs workout, don’t forget a few exercises that will whip those lower abs in shape.

How do you do that?

The lower abs work to raise and lower the legs. Include these types of exercises in your workout routine:

• Hanging leg lifts
• Dancing
• Pilates

Hanging Leg Lifts

Let gravity help you out. Most gyms have hanging frames which would be perfect for this type of lower abs workout. The frame uses your own weight to work the lower half of the abs region. Hanging comfortably on the frame, raise your knees until they form a ninety degree angle with your torso.

This will be hard at first and you will feel it right away. That’s a good thing because it means your lower abs are doing the majority of the work. Once your lower abs get stronger, don’t bend your knees but lift your legs straight out during the exercise.

Dancing

We all do it when we are in the elevator or doing housework but dancing is really a beneficial exercise. Attend a dance class. Latin dancing, swing, ballroom, and hip hop (to name a few); all work the abs through their moves. The best thing about dancing and getting the abs in shape is that it’s fun so you don’t really mind.

Pilates

Many people swear by this exercise. It doesn’t seem like it a sweat producing exercise so people avoid it. But, through stretching and various positions, Pilates works to lengthen and strengthen the muscles and it is not easy. Don’t Forget

The lower abs won’t get into shape when you work the upper. Some of your abs workout needs to concentrate on the lower region alone. The muscle building will burn the fat creating that pooch over the lower abs and give you a sleek sexy look to your entire abdominal region.
